JSKA World Championship -2023

2021.12.11

On December 21, 2019, Sensei Abe passed away. After a period of mourning, the Shihankai got together via virtual meetings to discuss the future of the JSKA. Before his death, Sensei Abe’s expressed his wish for the JSKA to go forward with Sensei Mitsuro Nagaki leading the association. He also asked that Sensei Naito be given the utmost trust and recognition in the position of Managing Director of the JSKA. Unfortunately, shortly after initiating this future organization of the JSKA, the worldwide corona pandemic changed everything we had anticipated. However, despite related restrictions, the JSKA has succeeded in advancing its further development with Sensei Naito and his team doing a great job!

By setting up JSKA continent headquarters, such as in Asia, Africa, America and Europe, the routes to member countries will be optimized. I would also like to thank my European JSKA Shihankai colleagues for their good and valuable work. As the organizer of the JSKA – World Championships 2020, it became necessary to postpone this great event for the known reasons in view of the World pandemic situation.

In order to give all JSKA country representatives a reasonable preparation time, we decided on a new date for the championships: JSKA World Championships August 10, 2023 – August 14, 2023 Luebeck GERMANY

The JSKA Germany team is looking forward to welcoming all participants in 2023. If you have any questions, our team will be happy to hear from you. For more information regarding Luebeck, please visit the tourist information page here. General information can be found on our website: jska-germany.de
